JUNG has been a premium supplier in electrical installation technology for over 100 years. Founded in 1912, this medium-sized family-run company from Schalksmühle in the German Sauerland has established itself as a specialist in switches and systems. Its modern solutions appeal with their ease of use, safety and energy efficiency. JUNG stands for noble material, precise workmanship down to the details, durability, longevity in function and appearance, for timeless design that does not follow any fashion and for an unparalleled customer service.
The managing directors are Harald Jung, grandson of Albrecht Jung, the company founder, along with Michael Eyrich-Ravens and Martin Herms. With 1,200 employees, its own subsidiaries and numerous representations, JUNG is also internationally recognized. The company produces consistently high quality products, which customers rely on throughout the world, at its locations in Schalksmühle and Lünen. JUNG has received the certified "Made in Germany" proof of origin from TÜV NORD for this. Its Insta subsidiary is an electronics technology centre that develops and produces devices and systems for building systems technology in nearby Lüdenscheid.
When Albrecht Jung founded his company, three things were already important to him: progress, quality and design. These facets characterize JUNG to this day and can be felt and experienced in all parts of the company. "Progress as a tradition" is an attitude that is the commitment to steadily new thinking. A commitment to the development of new ideas for simpler application, better functionality, more customer-friendly service and an attractive design. This drives us every day and connects us to the company.
